Femtech has gained tremendous momentum over the last 3 years and we continue to see progress in gender equity and advances in innovative solutions improving the quality of life of women every day. We are so proud of our cohort for pushing the boundaries and solving issues in the women's lifecycle from menstruation to menopause.
This year's conference will illustrate the story of "Eva" and Lisa Falco will give a keynote on the "Women's Health Journey" topic illustrated by how our very own Tech4Eva Femtech solutions making the women's life easier every day. The story is about the continuous transformation of a woman's body. It is about unravelling the mystery surrounding women’s biology and explaining what is happening underneath the surface. We all know that the female body changes cyclically every month during the reproductive years, and that it completely transforms during puberty, pregnancy and menopause. However, most of us ignore the fascinating details. What triggers those changes and what are the sometimes unexpected consequences? The facts are as mind-blowing as entertaining ("Go Figure!" book by Lisa Falco).

Event Speakers
Lisa has been working in the interface between medicine and technology for almost 20 years, on how data can be used to better understand the human body. Doing so she has worked within varying fields of women’s health, such as bone research, diabetes and fertility.
She was previously Director of Data Science at Ava, the first Swiss FemTech startup, where she led a team developing algorithms and artificial intelligence to help women get pregnant faster by using their physiological data over the menstrual cycle. The work she did there, and the women I encountered in the process, inspired her to write “Go Figure! The astonishing science of the female body.” The book unravels the mystery surrounding women’s biology and explains what is happening underneath the surface - from puberty to menopause. She now works as a consultant where she help companies anywhere along their data and AI journey.
Lan is the Deputy Managing Director of EPFL Innovation Park and an Expert of Innosuisse – the Swiss Innovation Agency. She has 23 years of hands-on professional experience in industry as well as in the ecosystem of innovation & entrepreneurship.
Lan started her career at R&D department of Rolex, in charge of creating new computer aided design and optimisation tools in the product development process. She was later appointed as Head of Operational Planning at Pictet, working closely with a startup to design, develop and implement a management information system for group operation control. As the Managing Director of Geneva Creativity Center, she connected large corporations, SMEs, startups and researchers to initiate innovative joint R&D projects.
Currently at EPFL Innovation Park, she is leading entrepreneurship training and acceleration programs and is helping startups to establish business partnership with large corporations. Lan has a PhD degree from EPFL, an MBA from HEC Lausanne and postdoctoral applied research experience at Stanford University.
Heike Dorninger is a Managing Director and Partner in the Vienna office. She is a core member of the Health Care and Insurance Practice areas and has extensive experience working with diverse players in the health care industry in several countries – including health systems, health insurances, Pharma and Medtec companies. Her focus is on Health insurances and health systems, especially on Digital Health as well as Data&Analytics in the DACH region.
Heike holds a Master in Biochemistry, a PhD in Molecular Biology and an MBA. Before joining BCG in 2010, she worked as a postdoc at IMP Vienna.
Raymon uit de Bulten is an experienced and results-driven leader in new proposition and business creation at Philips. As Director Start-up Ventures he leads a team of cross-functional intrapreneurs in developing new solutions and business models via internal ventures and incubators. Outward looking, creative and forward-thinking; Raymon specializes in bringing together business opportunities, innovation and design to create meaningful consumer solutions.
Oana Gharbi is a FemTech business consultant, professional fertility patient advocate and certified health coach.
Having experienced secondary infertility first hand, Oana brings unique perspectives gained from her battlefield experience to the organizations she works with, gaping a bridge between the real needs of fertility patients and FemTech business initiatives.
Oana is Head of Partnerships for Proov and is a professional member of Resolve, the European Fertility Society and ESHRE".
Mathieu is co-founder and CEO of ASPIVIX SA. He has over ten years of experience in the development and commercial management of medical devices.
He brings a strong track record of building and leading diverse and cross-functional teams for both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies in the life sciences and medical device sector at ASPIVIX and Danaher.
With ASPIVIX, he is a pioneer in FemTech - innovative gynecological devices - and has raised more than US$10 million in dilutive and non-dilutive financing rounds.
Mathieu holds several master's degrees in mechanics from Paris Tech in France, Cranfield University in the UK, and IFP School in France, as well as an MBA from INSEAD/Wharton, France-Singapore-Philadelphia.
