Event Speakers
Ellen Kocher is an Economist and Certified Workplace Wellness Consultant in Switzerland and the USA. She holds a master’s degree in Workplace Wellness and Coaching, is an ICF Professional Certified Coach, and is a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Educated in the USA, Ellen has lived in Switzerland for over 30 years. After 10 years in the Finance Industry, she made a personal lifestyle shift and has dedicated the past 20+ years to workplace well-being. She has accompanied dozens of organizations to understand, assess and implement holistic well-being to sustainably improve the bottom line.
As a Consultant, Coach, Author, and Speaker, Ellen currently holds board positions and distinctions including Global Leader of the International Coaching Federation Health and Wellness Coaching Community, National Wellness Institute Circle of Leadership Award for outstanding contributions in the field of Wellness, and Multicultural Competency Committee, Vice-Chair Global Wellness Institute Health and Wellness Coaching Initiative, ICF Mentor Coach for multiple globally recognized training programs.
Ellen resides in Geneva Switzerland with her husband and 3 children.
Educated in France, Vanessa holds a post-graduate diploma (DESS) in mathematical engineering and started her career at a software edition start-up, which was acquired by a major US group. In 2009, she was recruited by Groupe Mutuel, one of Switzerland’s leading health and life insurers, to contribute to the overhaul of its IT system. Vanessa progressively climbed the ranks to ultimately become a member of the IT management.
Always looking for new challenges, Vanessa successfully obtained an Executive MBA with a specialization in Healthcare Management.
In 2023, after more than 20 years of expertise in IT, Vanessa chose to move closer to the operational sectors in order to leverage her 360° skills between IT, Business, and Leadership. She is currently the head of “Organizational Transformation”, responsible for optimizing the organization and operational processes of the back office (>500 employees).
Passionate about knowledge transfer and intergenerational connections, she is also a mentor for “SwissTecLadies” and “Coding Club for Girls”, sharing her experience and knowledge with the next generation of technology enthusiasts.
Christian is a coach, trainer and leadership developer with a passion for people.
As Managing Director of Parrtner AG, Christian A. Herbst supports people and companies to recognise and utilise their full potential.
He holds a Master's Degree in psychocraphic solution-focused short therapy / coaching
Simone has 25+ years of event management, strategy, marketing, relationship building experience. She joined the EPFL Innovation Park team in 2020 and she currently manages the Tech4Eva accelerator operations, events and community marketing and the Tech4Growth initiative.
For 16 years she built the brand/network of Tech Tour as their Managing Director leading the events team to implement 25+ tech events per year. She has a proven ability to set up well-oiled processes and leverage networks to open partnership opportunities to build a strong ecosystem by maximizing objectives and engaging all stakeholders (corporates, investors, academia, tech start-ups in all digital sectors).
Previously she worked for the University of NC in Chapel Hill, USA, implementing the new graduate student program. She also worked at SCIP as their global operations & marketing manager both in Alexandria, VA & in London, UK, where she opened and managed their branch office to establish their European presence, as well as overseeing all aspects of international conferences & tradeshows.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, NC, USA. She is fluent in English, French & German.
